About Us
We used to breed wonderful pet rats with the goal of giving our rats the best care possible, we adopted out our little ones only to homes that would love them like we do. We did not sell feeders, travel, or ship to other states. Not we have moved on from rat breeding and no longer breed our rats, but we've left the website active for those of you who enjoy our rat genetics page.
We created our facebook page is to form a community of loving rat owners, giving our rats the best kind treatment and care possible. Our page is for sharing and helping each other with new rat related ideas and questions.
When breeding rats we had goals and ethics that we followed to ensure the best health and temperament of our rats that we were capable of for our pedigreed pet rats.
If you are interested in breeding please be aware of the dangers of certain markings and make sure to study rat genetics to set goals and never over produce.

Ethics
We used to breed for health and temperament first, and cosmetics second. A breeding pair that is in their prime will make thriving offspring. All of our breeding rats were in top condition and not under the age of 6 months before they were able to be bred. Our females only had 1-2 litters each, depending on how large their litters were.
There are too many rats being bred for their looks without second thought of their background and health. We aimed to improve rat health and life expectancy, by monitoring the life spans of each line and breeding only the healthiest and most friendly of our pack.
Each of our babies were handled from birth. They received the best care we could offer and we very much enjoyed breeding rats, but with a family of our own now, we no longer have the time to spend on these awesome creatures.
Goals
Our number one goal was to improve the health of our rats with each litter, only breeding the healthiest and pet homing all of our other beautiful rats.
Health aside, our specialty was merle spotting. Our goal was to display and enhance this spotting on a variety of mink base dilutes. We got some very beautiful spotting and wonderful rats before we decided to close our rattery.
